Tacoma police arrested a driver suspected of leaving the scene of a hit-and-run crash outside The Swiss early Saturday.

A man was hit and dragged about 30 feet in the parking lot across from The Swiss, 1904 Jefferson Ave., just before 2 a.m. Saturday, police reported.

The driver didn’t stop. Officers spotted the suspected hit-and-run vehicle on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge a short time later.

The vehicle was stopped and its driver and passenger were detained, police reported.

Witnesses from the hit-and-run positively identified the driver as the suspect in the hit-and-run.

The man who was struck suffered minor injuries, police reported.
