The King County Sheriff’s Office is reminding the public about the unsolved slaying of a Lynnwood woman.

Nicole Pietz was last seen Jan. 27, 2006, at her home by her husband. Her body was found Fed. 6, 2006, in a wooded area in Burien. Investigators found her car, a 2003 Jetta, in the University District about two weeks later.

Four years later, the case remains unsolved.

A reward of $36,000 has been offered for information that leads to an arrest or conviction in Pietz’s death.

Her mother has also said the family will pay the legal costs for anyone who comes forward with information about the case but wants to use an attorney.

Anyone with information is asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311.
