It was reported that a Snohomish County deputy fatally shot a suspect in Bothell early Thursday morning. The officer was responding to a domestic violence call at an apartment.

  1. I hope the perp was armed, cause if he wasn’t…

  2. There are probably several times a year in which many police officers could have a “righteous shoot”, but they don’t do it, even if it jeopardizes their safety. No more. We are going to see a few more of these before things calm down again.

    Something smells rotten.

According to a Kiro news report, the call first went down as a domestic dispute involving two men and a woman, but was upgraded to assault with a weapon.

As the father of the woman had a puncture wound to the face, it’s a good guess that the weapon involved was a knife.

There was also another witness other than the woman and her father, who reported that he had been threatened as well.

Let’s see – four officers gunned down – an officer killed on “domestic violence run” and someone is critical of this officer making a split second decision when confronted by some dude already having shown a tendency to do harm to others. This deputy should get a citation for being smart enough to stop this “suspect” before being harmed or worse killed. It is time that the bad guys understand the orders given by the police are serious.
