Tacoma and Pierce County officers arrested two women Tuesday evening in connection with the Lakewood shooting. They are both charged with four counts of rendering criminal assistance.

One, a relative, was arrested at her home in Pacific. The other woman was arrested at an attorney’s office in Des Moines. It is not clear how she is connected with Maurice Clemmons.

Officers have now arrested six on suspicion of rendering criminal assistance. Pierce County Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said investigators are still looking for others who may have helped Clemmons, and more arrests are possible.
