The University of Washington has sent out an alert to its students regarding the suspect in the slaying for four Lakewood police officers.
The alert, sent out at 7:45 a.m., says the suspect may be in the university area. Police are responding. Be alert.
The alert was sent out via e-mail and text messaging.
The UW Seattle folks evidently have never been to Lakewood or Parkland and thought “Lakeland” was close enough. The alert said:
“Lakeland shooting suspect may be in University area. Police responding. Be
alert”

I have people tell me when I’ve said I live in University Place “Oh, I hear the Huskey’s have a nice football team!”…LOL….if it ain’t in Seattle it’s no where.
