Pacific Lutheran University will hold a cadlelight vigil in remembrance of the four Lakewood police officers this evening. It starts at 5:30 p.m. in Red Square. More info here.

The campus observed a chapel service this morning.

“A few decades back there was a popular song that urged us to ‘lean on me when you are not strong,’” university President Loren Anderson told members of the PLU community. “In our weakness today, I urge us to lean on one another, care for one another, be kind to one another.”
