This is a sad day we complain about the police some more than others and some have good reason to, But these guys put it out there everyday and will go through any door at any time to stop a a person from raping your children or wife ,killing yor loved ones, they do this without question of who and why, I new all of these outstanding officers ,stood side by side with them, We shall take there badges and lay there guns to the ground,But we will not rest untill the shooter is down.

They should execute this person that did this by a firing squad or hanging.

Washington State needs a 3 strikes law like California. But make it 3 strikes and you are locked up for life for any violent crime.

California will lock you up for life with 3 strikes for any crime. That sure will keep some violent people out of Washington State.

Parkland and Lakewood used to a nice area to live, It has changed.

Getting to many deadbeats in the area.

Thank you Mike Huckabee for commuting this loser’s sentence in Ark. Even if he didn’t shoot those cops, this guy should be rotting in prison.

I mourn this senseless act of violence. However, I still can’t understand how the justice system can give out such sentences as they do. Case in point… My brother, along with another man, was killed by a 17 year old, at the same time in 1990. Once prosecuted and sentenced, he got only 17 years for both counts on a plea bargained second degree murder; yet this “person of interest”, Maurice Clemmons, got 35 years for armed robbery? To add insult to the loss, Gov. Gregoire allows him to be released 1.5 years early to relieve prison crowding; yet those released were supposed to only be “non-violent” offenders. I don’t know about you, but I’d say a double hommicide is pretty violent. Thanks for nothin’ Gov.

GreatWhite: ANIMALS are above this kind of behavior–they don’t commit hate-filled crimes like this guy did. They conduct their lives in a dignified, peaceful manner, like us, killing only what they plan to eat.
There has to be a better analogy; this one is insulting to animals.
