Security at McChord boosted after slaying of four Lakewood officers

Bud McKay, spokesman for the 62nd Airlift Wing, said McChord Air Force Base boosted security around its perimeter fences following the shooting. It also increased security at all of its gates, although McKay said the base already checks the identification of everyone entering the base.
