Local law enforcement agencies are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who’s committed at least four bank robberies in Pierce County in the past six weeks.

Tacoma-Pierce County Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the bandit’s arrest and charges filed in the case. The non-profit organization released surveillance images of the suspect this week.

Detectives from the Pierce County Sheriff’s, Tacoma Police and Fircrest Police departments believe the same man is responsible for the following robberies:

* Sept. 28 at First Citizens Bank, 1902 64th Ave. W., Fircrest.

* Oct. 8 at Community First Credit Union, 4702 S. Pine St., Tacoma.

* Oct. 26 at Rainier Pacific Bank, 11821 Canyon Road E., Pierce County.

* Nov. 6 at TAPCO Credit Union, 13505 Pacific Ave., Parkland.

In each heist, the robber approached the counter and handed the teller a note. The note indicated the man was armed and demanded cash, investigators reported.

The robber grabbed the money and ran from the bank.

The bank robber has been described as white, 20 to 25 years old and 6 feet tall with a slender build. He has worn blue jeans, a dark-blue hooded sweatshirt and brown baseball hat during the robberies.

Reach Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959. Tipsters may remain anonymous.

    its nice to see quality pictures of wanted persons instead of low res low quality pictures.
    this helps in netting the criminals to the benifit of the bank and mostly the safety of our community.
