The Link is a wonderful thing if you need to get Downtown. We’ve used it faithfully and thankfully to get to appointments and the Farmer’s Market. And in the winter it’s even better. I’m sorry there was a collision, but there are actually bells, whistles and lights that warn of it’s coming.

obamanothanks, I work downtown and I’ll tell you, there are certain times of the day when I outright refuse to ride the Link because it’s so packed – mornings and afternoons…and weekends when there’s an event in town. I think the Link took some getting used to for most folks, but it seems to run smoothly now that the city has gotten the signals and lights synched up.

I don’t personally use the Link as often as some, but when I’ve needed it, it’s been a lifesaver.

Transit vehicles have the right of way – period. There is no such thing as a transit vehicle failing to yield. Read RCW 46.20 sometime.

To obamanothanks…maybe you should ride the link during the hours when people are going and coming from work. Ride it about 4 or 430 the link is packed.

Those light rail trains were / are a waste of taxpayers money, I have never seen one of those things half full – granted I’m not in Tacoma everyday, but, I do know they block / interfere with the flow of traffic and, for the amount of people that ride it, the cost of the thing and the cost of employees with their perks, it would have been better to add more FREE PARKING to downtown !!! Idiots !!!
