Lakewood police arrested a 19-year-old woman Sunday night on suspicion of firing a handgun at another car after an altercation.

No one was injured in the shooting

According to scanner traffic, about 5 shots were fired at one vehicle, before multiple cars sped off at about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Orchard Street Southwest and Grant Avenue Southwest. The bullets hit the car but no one inside.

The shooter was reportedly on foot.

Officers responded to the area. They found the suspect. She was positively identified by the victims and witnesses, police spokeswoman Heidi Hoffman said.

Officers located several shell casings.
