I am also a native of Illinois--the Midwest--and have seen and lived through severe weather all my life. I have no idea who some of the newscasters are being so over-cautions with their comments. So, I'll help them along. Enumclaw, Buckley and surrounding area, yes--you DID have a tornado come through. It was a small, short lived one--at most an EF2 on the Enhanced Fujita scale. But, it most certainly was a tornado. My family lived in Enumclaw for 12 years. I am also a native of Illinois–the Midwest–and have seen and lived through severe weather all my life.
