Washington State Patrol troopers and Tacoma firefighters are responding to a one-car rollover crash on a ramp from northbound Interstate 5 to westbound Highway 16 in Tacoma. Traffic has already started to back up, according to police scanner chatter. State DOT traffic cameras show a car on its top. UPDATE: The DOT web site reports the serious-injury accident is located on northbound I-5 at the exit to westbound State Route 16.

UPDATE 2: The northbound I-5 ramp is blocked by the rollover crash. Troopers, transportation crews, firefighters and paramedics are on the scene.

Crews have closed the ramp. Drivers are being diverted.

UPDATE 3: The ramp remains blocked. A tow truck has arrived on the scene.

UPDATE 4: The ramp is now cleared and open to traffic.

UPDATE 5: Our news partners, KIRO TV, have a little bit more on the crash. You can find it here.
