A 19-year-old man died early today at a Lacey home where a group of young adults gathered and consumed alcohol, the Lacey Police Department reported.

The man’s name has not yet been released.

Officers and paramedics were called to the home in the 1400 block of Diamond Road Southeast about 6:50 a.m. They found the young man unconscious and not breathing, officers reported.

Officers performed CPR. Shortly after paramedics arrived, they pronounced the man dead.

There were several 18- to 21-year-olds inside the home. Witnesses reported the man was last seen about 4 a.m.

“Officers determined that alcohol had been consumed,” a news release state.

The Medical Examiner’s Office will be doing an autopsy and working to determine what killed the man. Lacey detectives also are investigating. They interviewed others at the gathering and conducted a search of the home.

As long as he paid the correct TAX on the booze, what’s the hassle? The state has absolutely no problem selling this poison. You reap what you sow, correct Gov. Chris?
