Tacoma police officers were searching for two men who robbed pizza delivery drivers in separate incidents late Wednesday.

The first robbery occurred just before 10 p.m.

A Pizza Hut delivery woman was making a delivery in the 900 block of North Pearl Street when a man with a gun approached, demanded cash and robbed the victim, Tacoma police reported.

The robber was described as black, in his mid-20s and 5 feet 7 with a thin build. He had short hair and wore dark-colored clothing and fled in an unknown direction after the robbery, police reported.

About an hour later, a Pizza Hut delivery driver was robbed after returning to the business at 4704 S. Oakes St. The robber approached the woman in the parking lot, police reported.

The robber brandished a handgun and took some cash from the victim. The robber fled southbound down a nearby alley.

The robber was described as white and in his late 20s to early 30s, 5 feet 9 and weighing 150 pounds. He wore a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt and a blue bandana over his face, police reported.

No arrests have been reported in either robbery.
