From the follow-up file …

The owners of McCabe’s American Music Cafe have filed an appeal after the state Liquor Control Board announced it would seek non-renewal of the club’s liquor license.

The appeal was filed Nov. 7, according to the Liquor Control Board. It allows McCabe’s to remain open while a hearing is set before an administrative law judge.

That hearing could take place in three to six months.
