Auburn police officers took orders and served food last Saturday at Red Robin to raise money for Special Olympics Washington.

Their efforts brought in $3,700 in the annual Tip-A-Cop fundraiser, the department reported. That bettered last year’s mark of $1,000 raised.

The next fundraising events are May 2-4 on the rooftop of the Krispy Kreme Donuts at 1900 1st Ave S.

Officers will set up shop on the roof to raise money for Special Olympics.
