A fuel line leak at Sea-Tac Airport this morning spilled about 500 gallons of fuel, spokesman Perry Cooper said.
Technicians are still checking out the system that pumps fuel from underground to the ramps, but it’s back up and running now, he said. It was shut down from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., but there weren’t any major delays.
Fire crews cleaned up the spilled fuel.
A house fire this time. No one was hurt, but the family was left homeless.

Looks like investigators still don’t know what caused the blaze, but have ruled out an electrical problem.

Kent Fire Investigators have released their findings concerning a fire which took place this morning at the Valli Kee apartments on Kent’s east hill.
According to investigators, the cause of the fire is, "undetermined". This means that the investigators were able to locate the fire’s area of origin, but cannot definitively determine the cause.
The investigators further stated that they were able rule out an electrical short as a possible cause
Detectives went back out to the neighborhood today to search for evidence from last night’s homicide in the 900 block of North Park Drive.
They were searching the area in the daylight, Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.
Investigators were also interviewing witnesses and potential witnesses. They’re hoping to find someone who can shed some light on why Eric Nevils, a 30-year-old Spanaway husband, was gunned down in the quiet neighborhood.
Nevils has no ties to that neighborhood and has spent the past several years in Thurston County.
No arrests have been made and
…It’s late March AND it’s snowing again. It looks more like Christmas time outside than Spring Break.
The snow has canceled afterschool activities this afternoon for elementary schools in the Federal Way School District.
In addition, Pierce County road crews are at the ready, according to this release from the county.

Tacoma police officers are at Hunt Middle School right now, following up on a report of a person with a gun at the school.
The school has gone into lock down as officers investigate.
UPDATE: The report came in from school security officers about 11 a.m.
Officers have located the student believed to be in possession of the gun. Officers discovered it was a toy shotgun, police spokesman Mark Fulghum said.
The student was in custody and was going to be booked at Remann Hall juvenile jail. No one was injured.
The victim in last night’s deadly shooting in Old Town has been identified as Eric Nevils, a 30-year-old Spanaway resident.
That’s all that’s new as of 7:30 this morning but I hope to get more soon.
It appears there has been no arrests in the case.
The victim has no ties to the neighborhood where he was killed and no history in Pierce County. He’s originally from Thurston County and may have recently moved to the Spanaway area.

…Police are on the scene of what was reported as a shooting in the 900 block North Park Drive, according to radio traffic.
One person was found on the ground unresponsive. We don’t have confirmation that the person was shot, but the fire department just contacted the medical examiner’s office, which usually means someone is dead.
Two cars were reported to have fled the scene — a gold Cadillac DeVille and an El Camino.
