Lacey bank robber sought

Lacey Police released this information about a bank robbery this afternoon.



On Monday, March 31, 2008 at approximately 2:38 pm, Lacey officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Bank of America located at 1243 Marvin Road N.E. The bank branch is located inside the Safeway store.


The suspect contacted a bank employee, brandished note and a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect then fled the bank on foot and was last observed by a witness, leaving the parking lot in a vehicle.


The suspect was described as a white male in his fifties, 5’10, 220 lbs with salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a light blue baseball hat, black long sleeve button up shirt, and black pants.


The vehicle was described as a newer, red two door with an unknown Oregon license plate.
