At the end of my shift last night, police had just started investigating a stabbing in the 300-block of East 84th Street. It was not clear if the victim’s wounds were life threatening.

Today a Tacoma Police spokeswoman said that the 20-year-old victim was expected to live and was listed in stable condition. An 18-year-old suspect was arrested. Apparently the two had quarreled over a domestic issue.
