Our web editor has compiled the top 10 Lights & Sirens blog posts (according to page views) for 2007.

A little surprising to me was that seven of the top 10 posts are from Adam’s coverage of the Harold Wright trial. (He’s the principal who was accused of rape by a former student.) The No. 1 post actually was from 2006.

We also had a wacky story and a Zina Linnik update in the mix.

Here’s the list in descending order.

10. Harold Wright Jr. was convicted today

9. Alleged victim takes stand in principal’s rape case

8. Holy macaroni! Cow falls 200 feet onto car

7. Harold Wright’s codefendant makes bail

6. Here’s the afternoon update on principal’s rape case

5. Zina’s body found near Eatonville

4. Principal convicted of rape posts bail

3. Jury selection underway for Tacoma principal charged with rape

2. Testimony continues in Tacoma principal’s rape case

1. Ex-stripper turned Olympia housewife now a murder suspect

As always, thanks for reading. We hope you keep reading in 2008.

Happy New Year.
