The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office reported Wednesday morning that there is no homicide investigation.

A 47-year-old woman was found dead inside a house last night on the Hilltop. She was found by her son.

There were no signs of trauma.

We had a story late Tuesday night that had wrong information. Tacoma police are conducting a death investigation but are waiting for the medical examiner’s office to say how and why the woman died.
