Story in the Wenatchee World about the investigation of Weldon Marc Gilbert, the Pierce County pilot accused of sexually abusing two boys at his Lake Tapps home and suspected of victimizing at least 20 others.

Gilbert flew his airplane to Chelan County, according to the story. They were looking at whether he’d victimized any boys there.

Meanwhile, Gilbert is supposed to arrive in Pierce County later today. He’s being escorted from Atlanta, where he was arrested last week, by sheriff’s deputies.

Assuming that he’s booked before midnight, Gilbert should to be arraigned Friday in Pierce County Superior Court. He’s been charged already with nine sex crimes.
