Are your roads icy?

It’s still pretty slick out there on the streets of Tacoma.

Where have you seen or driven that is particularly bad? Are there spots that have been deiced and are relatively OK to drive on?

Post your replies here.

UPDATE: I was out at lunch time and it seems to be getting a little better here and there. The sun beating down on the ice-covered roads helps. I saw puddles of melted snow and ice and brown, slushy snow that was relatively painless to drive on.

The temperatures will drop again tonight, so all that will most likely refreeze and make for treacherous driving tomorrow morning.

There still are some streets that are barricaded off, though night reporter Paul Sand reports that some people are skirting around those signs.
