We got a few calls about this one today, so here’s the info:

A 40-year-old man who threatened to kill himself with a knife holed up in an apartment in the 200 block of Rigney Road in Steilacoom about 9 a.m. today. He gave himself up about 10:30 a.m., and went to a hospital to be evaluated, said Sgt. Manuel Rodriguez of the Steilacoom Public Safety Department.

Rodriguez said the police response included a bunch of cop cars, including about 10 from the Lakewood Police Department.
