Flooding: 11th St. Bridge finally reopens

Diligent Tacoma city reporter Kris Sherman passed along this tidbit.

The 11th Street Bridge in Tacoma over the Puyallup River has reopened.

The bridge, you may recall, was closed Nov. 6 following the rain storm and subsequent flooding. The storm had dumped a large amount of wood debris at the base of each pier.

Crews inspected the bridge and found no problems, thus it’s been reopened.
