Our night reporter, Paul Sand, sent me an e-mail last night about Tacoma police standoff with the suspected burglar.

Apparently, it ended about 8 p.m. Officers moved into the house, but the suspect wasn’t there.

It appears he slipped out the front, police spokesman Mark Fulghum reported to Paul. The man was not considered armed with any weapons.
