Tacoma police detectives were investigating the death of a man found early Tuesday slumped over in a car on the Hilltop.

Officers were called to the car minutes after 1 a.m. They found David Pruitt, 27, dead in the car, which was parked in the 1900 block of South Cushman Avenue, the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office reported.

There were no obvious signs of trauma. An autopsy could help determine Pruitt’s cause of death.
