Federal Way police have reported that a stolen car involved in an officer-involved shooting Saturday was recovered Saturday night.

King County sheriff’s deputies found the car (reported as a 1998 black Honda Civic) about 10:15 p.m. in Burien. It was being processed as evidence and later will be released to its owner, Federal Way police reported Tuesday.

Early Saturday, two men stole the car and escaped by steering toward police officers. A Federal Way officer fired at the vehicle and shattered a passenger side window.

No arrests have been reported.
