Auburn police sent out a plea Wednesday afternoon for information on two teenagers who have runaway from a youth shelter.

Uniqua Strothers, 13, and Christina Palermo, 16, left the shelter about 7 p.m. Tuesday. Uniqua takes several medications each day but police say she’s not in any medical danger.

Uniqua’s mother told police the girls may be headed to Bellingham and stopping at shopping malls along the way.

Uniqua, pictured here, is black, 5 feet 3, weighs 115 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She usually wears prescription glasses and was last seen in a blue sweatshirt and black shorts.
