The Queen Bee Coupons column has been so popular in the News Tribune Tuesday print edition that we’ve added this online column every Thursday. This gives me the opportunity to dive deeper into this week’s saving and feature real deals, in real time. We’ll talk grocery store savings, online deals and other topics that I think will save you time and money. It will be different every week – so make sure to stop by.
Grocery Store Deals
QFC Buy 5, Save $5 sale - Need breakfast cereal? If so, don’t miss this week’s Buy 5, Save $5 promotion at QFC. Prices are as low as $0.50 for brand name cereal after sale and coupon. Cereal prices this low don’t come around very often (stock-up price for me is anything under $1.25). The great thing about QFC’s Buy 5, Save $5 promotion is that you can mix and match all the items included in the sale – you don’t have to buy 5 of the same item. Read more about the QFC sale and print your coupons here. Sale goes through September 10.
FREE disposable Bic razors from Bartell Drugs - I love the coupon deals that we often find at Bartell Drugs. This week you can get FREE Bic razors after a coupon that was in your August 11 Smart Source coupon insert. This would have been in your Sunday News Tribune on August 11! It’s always wise to hold on to those coupon inserts – for deals like this! You never know when the perfect sale will come along to match-up with your coupons. Coupon expires September 9, so shop before then.
Did you know WinCo takes coupons? That’s right. WinCo has some amazing stock-up prices. Just this week I ventured into the store to hunt down the deals and I came up with a list of 130+ sale prices, many with matching coupons. See my list of WinCo deals here. WinCo prices can change at anytime, but generally run for about a month.
Costco September coupon book starts today! Every month we head into our local Costco and calculate the after coupon price, so you know what sort of deals you’re getting. The new September Costco Coupon Book starts today and you can save on a Dyson vacuum, Quaker oatmeal, Lysol wipes and more. See the Costco Coupon deals here. The coupon book runs from 9/5 – 9/29/13.
One of my biggest secrets to my saving is Amazon. I order everything from toilet paper to pasta – shipped to my door, for a fraction of the retail price. Amazon deals are tricky – they come and go very quickly, so it’s hard to feature them weekly. See the latest Amazon deals here.
Amazon is having an Amazon Mom Appreciation Event! Amazon Mom Members with Prime can use the promotional code BABY0913 to save 20% on hundreds of eligible baby products in select colors and styles, for up to $100 in total savings from August 28, 2013 through September 14, 2013 11:59 p.m. and while supplies last. You can see all the qualifying items here. This offer is only for NEW Amazon Mom members with Amazon Prime, INCLUDING those trying the free 3-month trial.
Do you still need school supplies? I was at Target and Fred Meyer yesterday and they were both marking down select school supplies. If you can wait a couple more weeks we should see some rock-bottom clearance prices. Many of the office stores are still running back-to-school promotions, check out my list of Best School Supply deals for the latest round-up.
Coupons coming this weekend
We should see at least two coupon inserts in your Sunday, September 8 News Tribune. Look for both a Smart Source and a Red Plum insert. Specifically we should see coupons for pasta, soup, dog food, coffee and more. Hang onto your coupon inserts, because I’ll be watching for sales to match them with. Take a marker and write the date of the paper (September 8), so you know what paper they came out of!
Please note that printable coupons, promotions and Amazon prices can change at any time. Everything included in today’s post was valid at the time of publishing.
Have a coupon question? Or do you want to know more about anything I posted today? Please leave a comment! And check back next Thursday for another dose of deals. And we’ll see you Tuesday in the newspaper!
