And you thought Friday the 13th was unlucky.

Puget Sound seafood favorite Ivar’s is offering free fries today in honor of National Fry Day, but you’ll have to go through their Facebook page to get the special coupon, which you can redeem at most Ivar’s locations, including Tacoma, Federal Way, Lakewood and Puyallup.

Meanwhile, Starbucks is urging people to try its new Refresher green-coffee extract drinks by giving away one to each customer from noon to 3 p.m. today. Details here.

Following up on Monday’s story about the sales of the state’s liquor stores, we got ahold of the list of winning bids for auctioning off state liquor stores to the highest bidder. As we reported, the top bid was $750,000 for the South End Tacoma store. Here are the top 10 bids, generally located in the Puget Sound region.
