Alaska Airlines continued its expansion of its Portland hub this month adding two new non-stop flights from that Oregon city to Dallas-Fort Worth and Atlanta.
The SeaTac-based airline will start the new Dallas flight Sept. 16 and the new Atlanta flight on Aug. 26. Alaska will drop one of its two daily Sea-Tac-Atlanta flights when it adds the Portland flight.

“With these new flights to Atlanta and Dallas/Fort Worth, our Portland-area customers will not only enjoy two new nonstop destinations, but seamless connecting opportunities throughout North America via our partners Delta Air Lines and American Airlines at their respective hubs in Atlanta and Dallas/Fort Worth,” Harrison said.
The new flights continue Alaska Air’s schedule growth in Portland during the last 12 months . The airline added new routes to Bozeman, Mont., Santa Barbara, Calif., Pasco, Kauai, Hawaii, and Washington, D.C. Alaska will add nonstop flights between Portland and Fairbanks, Alaska, on June 9.
