The family-owned North Tacoma Grocery Outlet is giving back to the Tacoma community at the holidays with a drawing to help needy families and individuals with a giveaway of $100 Grocery Outlet gift cards.

North Tacoma Grocery Outlet co-owner Lyn Lowe said the discount grocery store at 6425 Sixth Ave. will be selecting winners of the 25 $100 gift cards in a drawing Dec. 17.

“If you know someone who could use some extra help or encouragement, nominate them by December 16,” said Lowe.

Here’s how to nominate someone for the gift card drawing: “Email to
northtacoma@groceryoutlet.com the name, address and telephone number for both the nominee and nominator along with a brief description of the family’s situation. All information is kept strictly confidential. If nominator does not include required information, the nomination will not be considered ‘qualified’ and will not be entered in the drawing,” said Lowe.
