Southwest Airlines adding seasonal destinations from Sea-Tac

Southwest Airlines will resume service on a seasonal basis to four additional airports from Sea-Tac Airport beginning next summer.

The airline in its recently released summer 2013 schedule announced it will add service beginning June 2 to Houston’s Hobby Airport, to Kansas City, Nashville and Atlanta.

Alaska Airlines now provides non-stop year-round service to Kansas City and Atlanta. Delta also flies multiple times a day to the Georgia capital. No other airlines fly to Houston Hobby Airport, but United and Alaska fly to Houston’s other airport, Bush International. Southwest is the only airline to provide non-stop service to Nashville.

Southwest periodically adjusts its schedule to shift aircraft to different routes depending on seasonal demand.
