Alaska Airlines is adding three new seasonal routes to Hawaii from the Northwest and Alaska beginning this month.

The SeaTac-headquartered airline said it will begin flying between Portland and Kauai beginning Tuesday and between Bellingham and Maui beginning Thursday. An additional flight from Anchorage to Kona begins Saturday.

With the addition of those flights, Alaska will offer 27 flights a day from seven western cities to four Hawaiian islands. The new flights from Bellingham and Portland will be four times weekly. All three of the new flights will be discontinued in April as spring begins arriving in the West Coast cities.
