Delta Air Lines, which announced new service earlier this month from Sea-Tac to Shanghai, has begun accepting reservations for the new China service.
The airline plans to begin flying the route daily from June 16 using Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
The flight, Delta 587, will depart Sea-Tac at 2:45 p.m. and arrive at Shanghai’s Pu Dong Airport the next day at 6:20 p.m. after crossing the International Date Line.
The return flight leaves Shanghai at 12:20 p.m. and arrives in Seattle at 8:50 a.m. the same day.
Delta also announced it intends to add a flight from Sea-Tac to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and to London from Seattle. Delta now flies international routes from Sea-Tac to Tokyo’s Narita Airport, to Osaka, Beijing, Paris and Amsterdam.
