Off-price clothing emporium Marshalls plans a grand opening of its new Gig Harbor store Sept. 6.
The store at 4601 Pt. Fosdick Drive NW covers some 26,000 square feet of space. The new store is one of 880 Marshalls operating in 43 states and Puerto Rico.
The grand opening celebration is set for 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The new store will add 60 full and part-time jobs to the Gig Harbor employment market.
In celebration of its new Gig Harbor location, Marshalls will contribute to the local community by presenting a $5,000 donation to The Children’s Hope Society in Washington at the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:30 a.m. before the store opens.
