More than 40 employers are expected to be searching for new workers Tuesday at a Joint Base Lewis-McChord job fair.

The fair, “Hiring Our Heroes,” is aimed at helping military spouses find new employment. Spouses of active duty, national guard, reserve and retired military members are invited to attend the fair at McChord’s Club, 700 Main Street, on the base. The hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The fair is being sponsored by the United States Chamber of Commerce’s National Chamber Foundation along with Capital One. They are working in partnership with JBLM Employment Readiness and the Washington National Guard to stage the event.

Since its launch in March 2011, Hiring Our Heroes has held more than 210 hiring fairs nationwide, helping more than 10,000 veterans and military spouses find employment.
