Verizon expanding 4GLTE wireless network to Gig Harbor, Belfair

Verizon Wireless is expanding its 4GLTE network to Gig Harbor and Belfair Thursday, the company announced today.

The higher speed network expansion is part of a nationwide rollout in 32 more markets this week. Verizon first launched its 4GLTE network in Seattle in December 2010.

Among those other markets is Bellingham which also will see its 4GLTE network powered up Thursday. With Thursday’s additions, Verizon will offer 4GLTE in 337 markets nationwide including Eugene, Salem and Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Centralia, Olympia, Tacoma, Puyallup, Seattle, Everett, Marysville, Mount Vernon and Spokane in Washington.
