Gig Harbor’s Rush Companies has announced the opening of its newest commercial building project, a nearly 7,000-square-foot medical office building near Puyallup’s MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital.

Much of that building at 2920 South Meridian Ave is already occupied by Rainier Hematology and Oncology. Some 1,100 square feet of office space is available for lease.

Rainier Hematology and Oncology houses 17 infusion chars, 11 examination rooms, triage facilities, laboratories, phlebotomy areas and consultation rooms. The new building joins the Meridian Professional Center next door where 21,036 square feet of office space and 7,646 square feet of dental space house medical and dental offices.

Rush designed and built the new facility with the contemporary building systems and techniques. The exterior was designed to match the style of the existing Meridian Professional Center, and a future building that will complete the professional-medical campus. The wood framed building is finished with a combination of masonry and an exterior finishing systems.
