The City of Tacoma is hosting an open house Wednesday, July 11, about the Stadium Way construction project.

Starting at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the first floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St., city and contractor representatives will answer questions.

Construction is under way and will continue into summer 2013.

Phase I includes work around Stadium High School and on Commerce Street. During this phase, North 1st Street and North ‘E’ Street will be closed to traffic, and Commerce Street will have only one southbound lane open.
