Since Toyota began awarding its prestigious President’s Award in 1985, only five of Toyota’s 1,228 dealers has won the award every year.

Toyota of Puyallup, one of the five, has kept that winning streak alive again this year. Toyota has announced the Puyallup dealership once again is among the small fraction of Toyota dealers awarded the honor.

The dealership is the most awarded Toyota dealership in Washington.

In order to qualify as a President’s Award winner, Toyota dealerships must excel in several categories including sales satisfaction, service satisfaction, market share, vehicle delivery excellence and employee certification.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by Toyota for our achievements, said Kerry Bivens, Toyota of Puyallup’s president and general manager.

Toyota of Puyallup employs 115 people and will sell in excess of 2,750 new and pre-owned vehicles in 2012, said Bivens. The dealership has served the South Sound since 1970.
