Alaska Airlines’ elite passenger lounge in Sea-Tac Airport’s Concourse D has won honors as one of the country’s top airport lounges.
The Alaska Board Room at Sea-Tac was among a dozen airport lounges voted into the top rank by members of Priority Pass, an organization that offers access to more than 600 airport lounges for an an annual fee and a per visit charge.
Most airport lounges are available to passengers flying on first class or business class tickets on the airline that operates the lounge and to the airline’s top level frequent fliers. Some lounges are available to the general public on a per visit fee basis.
The Priority Pass members praising Alaska’s two-story board room noted the lounge is equipped with a novel device, an automated pancake machine that spits out two freshly cooked pancakes to lounge users on command.
