Southwest reducing, not discontinuing, Seattle-Salt Lake City service

A call from one of our readers this week caused me to double check a post I wrote a couple of weeks ago about Southwest Airlines’ plans to reduce service in Seattle.

Southwest is discontinuing service from Sea-Tac to Spokane, Boise and Kansas City. But it’s not dropping its Salt Lake City service from the Emerald City.

Instead, Southwest is reducing its schedule from three daily flights between Sea-Tac and Salt Lake to two early next year, but restoring that third flight a few weeks later.
