SeaTac’s Alaska Airlines operations generated the lowest rate of complaints among the nation’s larger airlines in June, a new report from the federal Department of Transportation shows.

That monthly report says Alaska’s flights generated just .25 complaints for every 100,000 passenger trips. The worst airline based on complaints to the DOT was American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines. American Eagle had 2.61 complaints per 100,000 passenger trips.

American has put American Eagle on the sale block.

Alaska also was best among major domestic carriers in June in on-time operations with more than 91 percent of its flights operating on time.
