The Puyallup Fair was fairly flooded with online job applications today as 607 people entered their particulars into the pool.

That’s 607 in the first four hours of accepting applications.

The fair will be hiring workers between now and the end of the event. The fair runs from Sept. 9 through 25 and looks to hire 3,000 people to fill positions from burger flipper to ride operator, from barn worker to ring-toss barker.

To apply, said fair spokeswoman Karen LaFlamme, visit www.go2worksource.com.

Last year, 5,000 people in total applied for jobs at the fair.
