Employees at Fife’s Omega Rigging are celebrating a new name for the company this afternoon that gives customers a better idea of its ties to its Portland-area-based owner, Morgan Industrial.

The company is renaming itself Omega Morgan and posting a new Website.

The company specializes in moving outsized or specialized equipment such as medical magnetic imaging machines, huge electrical transformers, wind turbines, aircraft subassemblies and modular buildings.

The 275-employees of the combined companies provide such moving services not only in the Pacific Northwest but also throughout the nation and the world.

Morgan purchased Omega Rigging in 2003.
