You don’t have to hang out in a drafty hangar on a folding chair to see the drama of the debut of Boeing’s newest jetliner Sunday.

Boeing is broadcasting the rollout of its first 747-8 Intercontinental on the Web at 11 a.m. Sunday. Go to Boeing’s 747 page to watch it from the comfort of you den.

The 747-8I is the passenger version of the latest generation of Boeing 747s. It’s stretched to accommodate 465 passengers in a typical seating layout. It features new, more fuel-efficient engines. Those engines are modified versions powering Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner.

The interior has been modernized with LED lighting, new bins and ceiline surfaces, wider entryways and a modified staircase to the second deck.
