Boeing won orders for 108 airliners in October, handily beating its European rival, Airbus, which recorded 49 orders, the companies reported this month.

The world’s other major airliner makers, Brazil’s Embraer and Canada’s Bombardier, won 17 and six orders respectively.

Narrowbodied aircraft were the predominant sellers in October with Boeing winning orders for 100 737s and Airbus finding customers for 32 A320s.
